Sew much SMOCK!
You may be stuck at home, but you're not without a way to help!
Every week, we're serving over 1400 meals to people experiencing the worst of the COVID19 Crisis. We need our team to stay healthy to continue making that happen and that's why we're making sure that our front line staff will have protective smocks to ensure they and their families stay safe.
We would love some help with smock-making, so if you are able, these are two ways you can help:
1. Donate bed-sheets (top/flat sheets preferred). You can drop them off at 365 McGee St. during drop in hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 1:30pm-4pm
2. Sew a smock!
You can arrange a pick up for the pattern by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org if you need a printed copy.
You can also find the smock pattern at the website below, you just have to go through a little registration process.
Once finished, the smocks can also be dropped off at 365 McGee St. during the above hours.
Thanks to Western Safety Sign Co. for cutting out patterns for these smocks so the sewing can start!
And thanks to you! Our amazing donors and sewers, being there for our community however you can!
We love you and we love that you love the community we love! We're trying hard to keep the love spreading right now and we're so glad you're beside us :)
